شیر جنوب‌غربی آفریقا (نام علمی: Panthera leo bleyenberghi) نام یک زیرگونه از گونه شیر است. این شیر در کشورهای نامیبیا، آنگولا، زئیر، غرب زیمبابوه، و شمال بوتسوانا زندگی می‌کند. نرهای این زیر گونه ۲٫۵–۳٫۱۰ متر طول با دمی بلند هستند ماده‌ها ۲٫۳–۲۶۵ متر می‌باشند وزن نرهای این شیر ۱۴۰–۲۴۲ کیلوگرم و ماده‌ها ۱۰۵–۱۷۰ کیلوگرم است؛ مانند دیگر شیرهای آفریقایی، این شیرهای نیز از انواع گورخر، کل یالدار، شاخ‌درازان، و گراز زگیل‌دار تغذیه می‌کنند.
