محمد بن جعفر اسدی یکی از وکلای حجت بن الحسن در ناحیه ی ری بوده که از طرف نواب توقیعاتی به آن می‌رسیده است. وی در ماه ربیع الثانی سال ۳۱۲ فوت کرد.^[۱]
