- زاغی نوک‌زرد Pica nuttalli: زاغی نوک‌زرد و نوک‌سیاه را برخی یک گونه محسوب می‌کنند.
- زاغی نوک‌سیاه Pica hudsonia: زاغی نوک‌زرد و نوک‌سیاه را برخی یک گونه محسوب می‌کنند.
- زاغی کره‌ای Pica (pica) sericea: گاه زیرگونه‌ای از زاغی معمولی محسوب می‌شود.
