Dr. Alireza Ganjovi (Persian: علیرضا گنجوئی, born 21 April 1976) is an Iranian Plasma Scientist and Technologist. [۱][۲][۳]

Biography[ویرایش]

Ganjovi was born in kerman, Iran. He completed his undergraduate and master's course in Applied Physics at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran [۴] .He did his Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Discharges) at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) along with 20 years of experience in teaching physics courses to the university students.[۵]

He is currently the plasma physics faculty member (Associate Professor) in the Photonics Research Institute at Graduate University of Advanced Technology, Kerman, Iran. He has more than 18 years of experience of research in the field of plasma discharges and their related technologies, lasers and their interactions with plasma discharge media in Iran and India.[۶]

He has had the executive activities during last years. They are mainly including the Intellectual Property (IP) issues, Deputy of Technology and Innovations in Kerman Science & Technology Park,[۷] Head of Plasma Engineering Department,[۸] Head of Semiconductor Department,[۹] Head of Laser Research Group[۱۰], Dean of Photonics Research Institute,[۱۱] Executive Chairman of Organizing Committee of 17th Iranian Optics and Photonics Conference and the Third Iranian Conference on Photonics Engineering, February 2011,[۱۲] Chairman of The First National Conference on Electric Discharges, Plasma and Plasma Engineering, February 2012, Chairman of The Annual Conference on Finite Element method in applied physics, October, 2012, Scientific Chairman of the National Conference on Technological Applications of Applied Physics, February 2022,[۱۳] and etc.[۱۴]

At the Iranian universities, he has instructed Laser-Plasma Interactions, Plasma Spectroscopy, Charged particles beams, Plasma Electrodynamics, Foundations of RF and Microwave Engineering, Computational Physics for Nano-Metric Systems, Insulators and High Voltage Engineering, Gas Discharge Physics, Plasma Engineering, Advanced plasma physics, Simulation and modeling and etc. for the under-graduate and post-graduate students (ME, BSc, PhD programs).[۱۵]

He has published more than 40 research papers and 60 conference presentations in the field of plasma technologies, lasers and their interactions with plasma discharges. Besides, more than 60 post-graduate students have finished their program under my supervision and guidance (Ph.D., M.Sc. and M.Tech. programs). Furthermore, he has been a principal investigator as well as colleague in more than 30 research projects.[۱۶][۱۷][۱۸][۱۹][۲۰][۲۱]

·       A pilot plant for an industrial plasma tunnel for disinfection and durability increasing of food and Agricultural Products before and after packaging.

·        A pilot plant for an industrial UV tunnel for disinfection and durability increasing of food and Agricultural Products.

·       Various UV air purifier and sanitizers.

·       An ozone generator for air and water disinfection.

·       A pilot plant for an industrial plasma cabinet for disinfection and durability increasing of herbal plants Products.

·       An industrial ozone generator for water disinfection.
