Shihan Ashrafi (16 September 1981) With the real name of Mahmoud Ashrafi , Martial artist , Samurai swordsman , Writer and He is one of the prominent teachers of Iranian martial arts Since his childhood, he was very interested in the life and fighting culture of the samurai and their style of swordsmanship, for this reason, he entered the world of martial arts with karate.
From the very beginning, he had many studies about the culture, customs and ethical traditions of samurai and samurai swords.

During his trip to Japan in 2006, he visited one of the greatest masters of samurai techniques named Otake Risuke Sensi (大竹利典, Otake Risuke) Otake Risuke was one of the great teachers of one of the oldest and oldest samurai schools called Katori Shintoryu. Shihan Ashrafi considers himself a disciple, student and loyal to him until the end of his life due to the interest he had for his teacher and the noble belief that loyalty to the teacher and leader is the first lesson of the moral school of samurais, Bushido.
After years of training in Japan, Shihan Ashrafi founded Bushikan samurai swordsmanship in Iran in 2009 and launched the first samurai dojo named "Bushikan" in the country.
In these years, with all difficulties, he tried to introduce the Japanese samurai swordsmanship style along with its academic and moral teachings to students and enthusiasts, and finally spread and expand Bushikan samurai style It is registered in the AJJIF World Federation.
He also introduced the Japanese culture and martial arts of this country by appearing in television programs such as "Sand Bad" on tv channel and "Kenjutsu" documentary which was aired on Radio news channel of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Shihan Ashrafi also appeared as a special guest in the Nowruz 1402 program on Cima channel 2.
Famous people such as Roham Hadian, one of the singers of Makanband music group, are among him students

Shihan Ashrafi achieved high and prestigious degrees during the combat activity, which include:
1- Receiving Shidosha "Certain Master" from the hands of Otake Sensei himself.
2- The only representative of Otake Sensei in Iran.
3- nternational certificate from the AJJIF World Federation.
4- World Dan 6 degree from AJJIF World Federation.
5- International coaching certificate from AJJIF World Federation.
6- First class coaching degree from Iran Martial Sports Federation.
7- First class referee certificate from the Iran Martial Sports Federation
